Trouble you are perfect
In all your imperfection
I see myself
In your reflection
As you walk fear street
Keep Sturdy feet
Or be
Dancing on and up
Through pain and judgement
Sweet one
Forget all you’ve been told
The waggling Tongue
The eminent cold
You are the passion
That breaks the mould
X patrick wolf 2011

Happy Christmas from Patrick 1988 + 2011 xx
Caught in the drifting years
Between my youth
And adulthood
Must I slow down now?
Between the breaking wave
And the ghost of this towns glory days
And the pelican suspension
Here to refuel the passions spent
On our loves tournaments?
Into the arms
Of adventure
Into the arms
Of combustion
Into the arms
Of open air
I long to be as careless as I once was
But how do I vapour this pressure off?
This pressure off! off!
Pelicans go where they dare
There let this be
The shortest day now of my year
Pelicans go where ever
Where ‘ere they dare
Into the arms
Of Adventure
Pelicans go where ever
Where ‘ere they dare
Into the arms
Of Daytona
Into the arms
Of the love he’s giving
And wade into the salt
The salten air
Open air
The morning mist clears
Open air

Dear wolfpack, thankyou for signing the petition! You helped change the world and protect human rights!
Last week, nearly 230,000 of us went All Out for Russia – and the pressure worked. The vote on the anti-gay bill did not take place!
All Out members around the world amplified the voice of Russian activists, forcing world leaders to speak out against this law that justifies hate and discrimination.
Polina, Sasha and our other friends in Russia remain hopeful, but the fight is far from over. The bill may still come back – and if it does, we’ll be ready.
Unfortunately there’s no time to celebrate. The Nigerian Senate has just followed Russia’s bad example, passing a bill this week which would make it illegal to publicly support LGBT rights. Simply showing up to a gay bar could land you in jail for 14 years, regardless of your sexuality. Enough is enough:
Before the bill passes, it has to be signed by President Goodluck Jonathan. As a powerful African nation, Nigeria cares strongly about its international reputation and a global outcry will make President Jonathan think twice about voting this into law.
This Monday, the Nigerian government will be attending an important United Nations meeting in New York City. Our friend Ife and other Nigerian activists will march to the UN and call on the government to abandon the legislation. Will you take one moment to show your support – we’ll deliver your signature in person and put real pressure on the Nigerian government:
Nigeria is already an incredibly dangerous place to be lesbian, gay, bi or trans. This piece of legislation will only further push the Nigerian LGBT community deep underground.
Nigeria’s president recently posted on his Facebook page: “When I assumed the mantle of leadership of Nigeria … one of my personal decisions was to prioritize education (being a teacher myself) and the welfare of the Nigerian people (health, the economy and energy security).”
That’s an irony in itself, for this terrible, bigoted bill threatens to set Nigeria back – especially in regards to health and HIV/AIDS. By further criminalizing homosexuality, Nigeria’s effort to control its HIV/AIDS pandemic – one of the most dire in the world – is under serious threat.
dozens of other Nigerian activists will deliver this letter directly to the Nigerian government next week – at a major UN meeting in New York City. Ife and his friends ARE NOT ILLEGAL. Stand with Ife by signing urgent letter and sharing with your friends….
this information was shared with me by the amazing human rights organisation allout.com together in this digital age we can really make our voices heard! “People have the power!” Xx patrick

Down in the foundry
They forge for us the changing bell
Turn your back against the wind
Spit down the wishing well
With nothing left to waste
But opportunity
To be the lovers
We have longed to be
Now things are looking up for you
Looking up for me
Looking up for us
Finally
We cross the borderline
To wake the sleep of colour
Under wind turbine
Look at the rusting of that old machinery!
Rusting away apart to history
Now things are looking up for you
Looking up for me
Looking up for us
Finally
What brings the joy
Will take the tears
You’ve been holding back
For all the years
That you were down
And out of luck
Now side by side
We’re looking up
Time to ring that
Changing Bell

The Brumalia EP is available to download at iTunes/Amazon.co.uk or you can buy the CD at Patrick’s online store now.
‘Together’ has been the highlight of the live shows over the last year, the audience reaction to this song has been totally inspiring, I always saw it as a song about two lovers reuniting in the dark rainy days around December.
Patrick Wolf.
The original version of ‘Together’ is available from iTunes now. But those lovely Garcon Garcon boys have also remixed it and you can download it in mp3 form for free right here on SoundCloud.
